Schedule:  Thursday, June 17 at 8:00 a.m.

Venue:      Willow Creek Golf Course (click for map)
                 140 Army Post Road, West Des Moines

Divisions:  5-Year Age Brackets (i.e. 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69…)

Additional Event Fee:  $30 (Includes Greens Fees for 18 holes of golf, 1/2 of a riding cart and a luncheon following the round.  Willow Creek members will not be charged Greens Fee)

Note:  Normal Iowa Senior Olympic registration fees must still be paid.  ($30 if paid by May 22, $35 after May 22 or $40 the day of the event.)

Entry Regulations:
1. Golfers must provide their own clubs.

2. Golf carts will be provided as a part of the event fee paid at registration.

Format:
1. The Iowa Senior Olympics Golf Tournament consists of one round of 18 holes stroke play competition. Handicaps will not be used.

 

2. There is also a Parent / Child Division where an eligible participant may play with a son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter. The younger member of the team does not have to be 50 years old. The division will be determined by the Parent’s age.

3. Tee off will be a shotgun start beginning at 8:00 a.m.

4. USGA rules regarding pace of play will be observed.

5. USGA rules regarding coaching will be strictly enforced.

6. In case of a tie, there will be a “card-back” starting at hole #1.
